Shipping policy

Dear International Customers

Thank you so much for supporting ThatBlackCat by artist Elaine Wong from Malaysia, all of you are being deeply appreciated and Elaine is happy to be able to fulfill orders all across the world!

Please note:

We reserve the right to make changes to this policy at any given time. If you want to make sure that you are up to date with the latest changes, we advise you to visit this page from time to time.

THATBLACKCAT by ELAINE WONG ART, MALAYSIA (SA0392346-V) ("we" and "us") is the operator of ( ("Website"). By placing an order through this Website you will be agreeing to the terms below. These are provided to ensure both parties are aware of and agree upon this arrangement to mutually protect and set expectations on our service.

ThatBlackCat products are fulfilled directly by our international worldwide drop-shipping partners (except for some items tagged as "Made in Malaysia" which are produced by our partners in Malaysia.)



Where will my order ship from?

We work with on-demand order fulfillment companies with facilities worldwide!


Products Fulfilment - how that works?

Each product is a custom order. Some of our products are fulfilled by US-based or Europe-based fulfillment center. This will help us to shorten delivery times for US & European countries but typically wait time can be up to 7-20 days, depending on where you are located.

We currently have a few apparel options, art prints and merch items that can be fulfilled in US, Europe, Australia, Mexico, Canada, Latvia, Spain, UK, South Korea and Malaysia. This can eliminate fees and also reduce waiting time and shipping costs. 

You can find those items by searching for "US" or "Europe" or "Spain" or "Made in Malaysia" etc. In some instances an item may only be available for production in certain sizes or colors so if you have questions prior to ordering please contact us.


Why Did I Only Receive Part Of My Order?

We ship from various different fulfillment warehouses—Based on product type(s) in your order, you may receive two or more shipments.

Certain items tagged "Made in Malaysia" items (eg. some tote bags, etc) are shipped from Elaine's studio in Malaysia, while other items like prints, clothing, mugs, etc are shipped by our manufacturers so it is pretty common to have things ship out in separate orders. If you placed an International order it is possible that some of your order could be produced in Europe or Australia or Mexico or Canada while the rest is produced in the United States which will also result in separate packages. Everything is done to minimize your shipping costs.

Prints (framed / canvas), Tote Bags, and Stickers ship separately from all other items. If your order includes these items and another item not listed please expect your order in at least two different shipments.


Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are calculated during checkout based on product type (weight, dimensions) and destination of the items in the order. Payment for shipping will be collected with the purchase. This price will be the final price for shipping cost to the customer.


Custom Fees / Duties & Taxes / VAT

You, the customer, are responsible for all taxes and duties imposed by your country of residence for importing goods. These charges vary from country to country and are out of our control. Please check with your country's customs office to determine their procedures and any potential charges.

We are not responsible for any customs fees or duties incurred on international shipments as these are the responsibility of the purchaser. You will be billed directly by the customs office of the destination country. We also have no way of predicting what those may be.

ThatBlackCat shop / Elaine Wong Art is not responsible for any packages held by international customs agencies and it is not our responsibility to make the customer aware of these agencies and their actions. Your package may arrive at your local post office or delivery center and be held until pickup and payment is taken care of. If you neglect to pick up your package and it is returned to us, we will not refund the charge for original shipping.


EU and UK additional VAT taxes & service fees

As of July 1st, 2021, EU and UK customers will have to pay additional VAT taxes and service fees incurred at your country's custom offices. This applies to all packages no matter the product / package value.

Elaine Wong or Elaine Wong Art or will not be collecting or remitting VAT. This means it will be collected by your country when the package reaches customs. You may experience package delays (additional 2 weeks or more) and additional processing fees. You can also check with your country's customs office to determine what your additional costs will be before buying.

Please understand we are not responsible for any import taxes and they are not included in the item price or shipping cost.

Additional taxes/charges/fees are the customer's responsibility and must be paid to your country to claim your package.


Pre-order Items

PREORDER items will be shipped as soon as the item is ready and an estimated date will be communicated to you.


Which countries do you ship to?

We support international shipping and we can ship to most countries & regions in the world.

*Please note our manufacturer cannot ship to Cuba, Iran, Crimea, Syria, and North Korea. Products shipping from Malaysia also can't be shipped to Israel.



Deliveries may be delayed due to the coronavirus outbreak, which includes varying levels of restrictions across destination countries on flights, airport closures and cross-border services.

Our manufacturer don't currently ship to the following countries and territories: Brunei, Eritrea, French Guiana, French Polynesia, Guadeloupe, Laos, Martinique, Mongolia, Myanmar, Reunion Island, Samoa, Saint Pierre and Miquelon, South Sudan, Tajikistan, Timor-Leste, Turkmenistan, Yemen.

Track your package or shipment here. Please allow 48 hours for your tracking information to update. In some countries, the postal services didn't offer visibility for international import Registered Mail items unless International Posts have upgraded to offer their customers products that come with visibility. So, please be patient.
